Deodorants
Do you use deodorant? If so, have you ever stopped to look, ever, at its composition? Or, rather, do you know if it is good for your skin and your body
?These questions, which virtually none of us ask ourselves on a daily basis, are important. Did you know that the use of deodorants containing aluminum hydrochloride may be linked to the development of diseases such as breast cancer and neurotoxicity?
.And what is aluminum hydrochloride: a salt of aluminum, redundantly, that has antiperspirant properties and penetrates the skin; it can therefore reach the blood and, from there, the brain.
We agree that traditional products should contain parabens, fragrances, phthalates, triclosan, alcohol, aluminum... to achieve antiperspirant and long-lasting effects and; as well as to be non-staining and rapidly absorbed by the skin.
Thus, perhaps some of you think that a deodorant, being natural and free of these components, is not really effective. Wrong! Just try the two mentioned above and you won't be able to live without them.
