Ambre is essence of amber, somewhere between the scent of the seashore and the aroma of tea. Warm, obsessive, and subtle notes in a unique candle.
With a woody essence, this scented candle Ambre is, as its name suggests: pure amber, the kind that the Arabs used as currency as precious as gold; the Egyptians, as incense and, in China, as an aphrodisiac spice .
The true ambergris is an intestinal calculus (a kind of cyst) produced by the sperm whale. Without using that animal-derived raw material, the Parisian House recomposes and reinterprets that legendary, precious, and rare aroma in the scented candle Ambre.
Important!: the three available sizes share the same scent, but not the same design. While the glass of the candles of 70 and 190 g is transparent and has a white sticker with the iconic Diptyque ovalDiptyque; the wax and the glass of the 300 g one are 'cognac' colored and the oval is engraved in the glass.
Depending on the size you choose, your candle will last approximately:

In the studio of Desmond Knox-Leet, one of the three founders of diptyque, a large fire blazed in the hearth during winter. On his desk, a jumble of small objects, amber stones, and fragrant resins joined him on his creative journey. Their scents mixed with the smoky and woody notes of the fireplace.

Shipments to mainland Spain and Balearic Islands are free of charge.
Shipments to mainland Portugal are free of charge.
Shipments to the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla are free if your order exceeds 70 €, if it is less than that amount the shipping cost is 30 €.
You can also pick up your order at our points of sale in Madrid and Zaragoza.
Returns
.Once you have received your order, you have 30 days, from order confirmation, to request a refund.
Important: the product(s) must be in perfect condition, i.e. with its original packaging and seal (unopened) and with all its accessories.
Delivery Timeframe
.- Spain peninsular and mainland Portugal: between 1 and 3 business days.
- Balearic Islands: minimum 2-4 working days.
- Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla: Orders to the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla have a delivery time of 7 working days excluding customs procedures.
Example: if you place an order on a Friday after 14:00, please note that it will not be processed until the following Monday, so you will receive it on Tuesday at the earliest.
