Deodorants
Do you use deodorant? If so, have you ever stopped to look at its composition? Or, better yet, do you know if it is good for your skin and your body?
These questions, which practically none of us ask ourselves in our daily lives, are important. Did you know that the use of deodorants with aluminum chlorohydrate could be related to the onset of diseases such as breast cancer and neurotoxicity?
And what is aluminum chlorohydrate?: an aluminum salt, redundancy aside, that has antiperspirant properties and penetrates the skin; so it can reach the bloodstream and, from there, the brain.
We agree that traditional ones must contain parabens, fragrances, phthalates, triclosan, alcohol, aluminum in their composition...to achieve the antiperspirant and long-lasting; effects, as well as to prevent staining and ensure quick absorption by the skin.
That's why some of you might think that a deodorant, being natural and free of those components, is not really effective. Wrong! You just have to try the two mentioned, and you won't be able to live without them.
