AMBER

Amber is one of the main raw materials in perfumery.

It is the result of the combination of a type of resin, vanilla, and patchouli. Unlike ambergris, it is a much more accessible component since its production takes place in perfume factories and workshops and is not a raw material found in nature.  

Its fragrance is sweet, vanilla-like and slightly dry and is commonly used to balance the more acidic and sober notes with the sweet ones.

Like ambergris, it is an excellent fixative. Its aroma brings elegance, softness, and sweetness to any fragrance.
