This fragrance has an oriental composition with notes of grapefruit and saffron, along with black violet and crystalline rose, ending with vetiver and light woods. A perfume that transports you to Indian culture.
Saffron has been historically used as a seasoning, dye, medicine, and fragrance. It was brought to Kashmir by the Persians in the 11th/12th centurya.C and its use and cultivation quickly spread throughout the entire country.
The robes of Buddhist monks are saffron-colored as a symbol of abstinence and renunciation of material goods. "Saffron has always been part of my Indian education in smell as well as in taste and color. It is sacred to all Hindus, it is the color of Buddhist robes, and has become a symbol for India.
