The Dark Rum Duo by Malin+Goetz reimagines the classic Caribbean bay rum scent — dark, spiced and traditional — in a fresher, more sensual and contemporary version. A duo that combines their clean-burning votive candle with the house's iconic Eau de Parfum.
Inspired by the formulas once used by Caribbean sailors and later popularised in barbershops, Dark Rum blends warm notes of leather and rum with the fruity sweetness of ripe plum and bergamot. On the skin, it evolves into an addictive combination that is both warm and refreshing, like the memory of sunny days and long nights among friends.
The scented candle completes the experience: its blend of vegetable waxes ensures a slow, clean burn that fills the room with this deep, spiced and surprisingly luminous scent.
- Dark Rum Votive Candle – 2.35 oz · vegetable wax blend · up to 25 hours of burn time.
- Dark Rum Eau de Parfum – 1.7 fl. oz · warm, fruity and spiced fragrance.

- Top: bergamot, ripe plum
- Heart: leather, rum
- Base: creamy milk, soft woods
Trim the wick to 0.6 cm before each use. Light on a heat-resistant surface, away from draughts and walls. For the first burn, let it burn for 2 to 3 hours. Do not burn for more than 3 hours at a time. Discontinue use once 1.3 cm of wax remains.
Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep away from flammable objects, children and pets.

Delivery times are estimates and start from when the order leaves our warehouse. Orders placed on Fridays after 14:00, at weekends or on public holidays are prepared on the next business day. During special campaigns, promotions or holidays, delivery may take longer. In any event, we will deliver your order within a maximum of 30 calendar days from its confirmation.
Customs and taxes
Shipments to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Serbia leave the customs or tax territory of the European Union and may be subject to customs procedures, duties or import taxes in the destination country, payable by the recipient. These procedures may extend the delivery time.
Tracking and delivery changes
When GLS collects your order, you will receive an email or WhatsApp message with tracking information. From that message you can, where available in your area, change the delivery address or choose a GLS pickup point.
We can modify or cancel an order as long as it has not left our warehouse. Once it has been handed over to GLS, it can no longer be modified or cancelled, but you can exercise your right of withdrawal once you receive it.
In-store pickup
If available for your purchase, you can choose to collect your order free of charge from ABANUC Salesas (Plaza de las Salesas, 10, 28004 Madrid) or ABANUC Zaragoza (Calle San Ignacio de Loyola, 1, 50008 Zaragoza).
Delivery issues
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or with the wrong product, please email us as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of receipt, at abanuc@abanuc.com or call us on +34 91 446 51 21 (Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 15:30 CET). This does not limit your guarantee rights.
Returns
- Period: you have 14 calendar days from receipt of your order to withdraw from the purchase, without giving any reason.
- How: email us at abanuc@abanuc.com with your name, order number and the products you wish to return. We will acknowledge receipt and tell you how to send them back.
- Condition of the products: for health and hygiene reasons, perfumes, cosmetics, candles and other sealed products can only be returned if they have not been unsealed.
- Return costs: borne by the customer, unless the product is defective or incorrect.
- Refund: we will refund the order amount, including standard shipping costs, within a maximum of 14 calendar days from your request, using the same payment method. We may wait until we receive the products or proof that they have been sent.
- Guarantee: all products carry a 3-year legal guarantee against lack of conformity.
