Chypre Perfumes and Fragrances
The Chypre olfactory family is one of the most famous in the world of perfumery as its notes can be found in the most iconic perfumes.
Its origin dates back to 1917 when François Coty launched 'Chypre', a fragrance inspired by the landscape of the Mediterranean island of the same name.
Chypre perfumes are characterized by a composition of green and woody elements such as moss, bergamot, patchouli, labdanum, rockrose, and cedar, oak, or sandalwood. These fragrances have great fixation and diffusion without being heavy, they are sensual and daring and are preferably used in autumn and winter. Additionally, they are the perfect complement for the night.
