The power of vetiver, highly valuable in Haiti, turns this perfume, into a confusion for the senses: sometimes fresh and at others, smoky and even, floral; the Eau de Toilette does not conform to gender.
Essentially woody, this fragrance surprises as soon as you discover two of its notes: grapefruit, which provides the citrus touch, and damask rose, which offers the floral and delicate character in its perfume.
Every December, when the rainy season ends in the Antilles, Haiti prepares for the vetiver harvest; one of the most important raw materials for the country.
The roots slowly distill their essence for more than 24 hours, the time needed to obtain vetiver oil, as valuable to Haiti as gold.
With the help of the company Givaudan, the Parisian House participates in a solidarity project with the Haitian country, committing to purchase vetiver essence that has ecological and ESR certifications.
