How to make your perfume last longer
Make your perfume last all day
Perfume is an expression of your personality and style. Over time, however, it is common for its scent to fade, leaving you feeling you need to reapply it. We have the solution to make your perfume last much longer, which is why we want to share with you ABANUC's best tips for making your perfume last all day.
1. Moisturise your skin before applying perfume
Hydration is key. Well-moisturised skin retains the perfume's molecules better, so its longevity will be greatly extended.
Apply moisturiser to the areas where you plan to spray your perfume. You can use two types of moisturiser: an unscented one or a scented one that complements the fragrance of your choice.
The best options for combining olfactory families are:
- Citrus and floral.
- Woody and spicy.
- Fruity and floral.
2. Apply perfume after bathing
The ideal moment to apply perfume is right after showering, when your pores are open and your skin is clean.
Gently pat your skin dry with a towel and then apply perfume to your pulse points, such as the neck, wrists, behind the ears and the inside of the elbows.
3. Store your perfume properly
The way you store your perfume can also affect its longevity.
Keep your perfume bottles in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and extreme changes in temperature, to preserve their fragrance. The bathroom is not the best place!
4. Don't rub your perfume
Although it is common practice, rubbing perfume after applying it can break down the fragrance molecules, causing the scent to fade faster. Instead, simply spray or apply the perfume and let it settle naturally on your skin.
5. Use a perfume ritual during the day
