Feu de Bois Diptyque Scented Candle
Diptyque Feu de Bois Scented candle
.Feu de Bois is a blend of essences extracted from peculiar woods. It was Olivia Giacobetti, the Maison's head perfumer, who proposed to the Parisian House the idea of creating a candle that would recreate the scent of wood. And he succeeded!
We put you in the situation: December on the calendar, you are inside a country house in the mountains, outside it is very cold, so the fireplace is lit...
....That scene describes this scented candle to perfection: Feu de Bois, 'wood fire', is a homage to the crackling of the fire, to the warmth given off by a fireplace lit in the middle of winter; before the attentive gaze of a family.
If you're a fan of that smell, but you don't have a house in the country, Feu de Bois will give you the wood-fired pigeon wherever you are; even if it's in the most modern city in the world.
Of a purely woody essence, Giacobetti chose two specific ingredients to give a smoky touch to Feu de Bois: birch and juniper oil.
Important!!!: the four available sizes share scent, but not design. While the glass of the 70 and 190 g candles is transparent and bears a white sticker with the iconic Diptyque oval; the wax and glass of the 300 gare gray and the oval is etched into the glass.
The sail of 1.500 g, the largest in the collection, has five wicks and the wax is also gray. In addition, the glass is made of ceramic and has the iconic signature oval engraving.
This scented candle can be used both indoors and outdoors, so if you have a terrace, garden or porch, it is perfect for recreating the aroma of wood for your meals and dinners with family or friends!
