OUD
The palbara 'Oud' means 'wood' in Arabic, but this key ingredient in perfumery is more than just a piece of tree.
It is known as the black gold of perfumers and is the wood of a tree native to Southeast Asia called Agar. When this tree becomes diseased, it becomes infected with a fungus that produces a fragrant, dark-colored resin with a delicious aroma. This perfumery ingredient is so precious because only 2% of Agar trees produce oud and it is necessary to wait an average of 6 years to exploit this resin.
Its unique fragrance is woody, warm, balsamic and sweet. Ideal for both men and women. It is a balsamic and full-bodied aroma reminiscent of wood, smoke and leather.
